Intertek Inform: How to use

To find a specific Standard, use the search boxes under the 'Standards' tab to search either:

• the document number, e.g. AS 4100, or
• a keyword, e.g. steel.

Use the filters on the left-hand side to refine your search.

For example, ensure you are accessing the correct version of the Standard by selecting 'Current'. 

You have two options to view the Standard:

VIEW ONLINE - Allows you to open the Standard in your browser. 

• Click the search icon in the right-hand corner to search for keywords
• Click the settings icon in the right-hand corner to adjust your viewing, including
  - dark mode
  - full screen
  - language options

DOWNLOAD - Allows you to download a PDF copy of the Standard.

• Click 'Download Document' to confirm your request
• Downloading allows you to access the pdf without an internet connection
• Please note: To view your downloaded PDF you will need one of the following PDF readers:
  - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
  - Adobe Acrobat Pro
  - PDF-Xchange Editor

You are able to view the Standard online or download a copy.

Things to remember:

• You can keep the downloaded PDF for your time as a student, however once you graduate you must delete it.
• Don't share your downloaded copy with other people, including classmates. They must download their own copy.
