Codes of Practice (COPs) are guidelines that help you comply with recommended standards and requirements in your chosen profession. 

Code of Practice for Veterinary Radiation

Regulations 

These are rules made by a government or a government agency. They deal with the detail and implementation i.e. how something set out in an Act should be done. This could refer to the technical side of things or for things that might change over time and need updating.

• Animal Welfare Regulations. This provides information about the animal welfare regulation, the animal welfare system and directs you to leaflets, posters and links to help understand the regulation.
• Animal Welfare Matters: New Zealand Animal Welfare Strategy
• Codes of Animal Welfare and how it relates to the Animal Welfare Act 1999

•  Animal Welfare (Care and Procedures) Regulations 2018
• Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016
