Whitireia/WelTec have two ClinicalKey databases that provide access to core textbooks and ebooks, journals, clinical overviews, drug monographs and other sources designed to support clinical decision making for nurses and health professionals.

When accessing databases on campus, you will be taken directly to the link. When accessing databases off campus, you will be prompted to sign in using your Whitireia/WelTec username and password.
Clinicalkey for Nursing has resources that support clinical decision making such as:
ClinicalKey for Nursing resources can be accessed by using your institutional email address and password. However, if you would like to save or download content, you will need to register an account.
STEP ONE
Go to the Databases or eBooks page on the library website and select ClinicalKey for Nursing. Log in using your institutional email address and network password.
STEP TWO
Click 'Register' in the upper right-hand corner:
STEP THREE
Create your account!
Enter your first and last name, followed by your email and password.
Your email will be your institutional email:
- Whitireia Students - PreferredName.LastNameXX@whitireianz.ac.nz
- WelTec Students - PreferredName.LastNameXX@student.weltec.ac.nz
Your password must be between 5 and 20 characters long and is case sensitive.
Click 'Register' to generate a confirmation email.
STEP FOUR
You will get a confirmation email from clinicalkey@elsevier.com.
Clinicalkey Student is an interactive platform that provides access to:
- Core nursing textbooks
- Supplementary textbooks
- Study tools
- Images
- Video resources
If this is your first time using ClinicalKey (or any Elsevier product), you will need to register an account. If you have registered with ClincialKey for Nursing you would use that log in.
STEP ONE
Go to the Databases or eBooks page on the library website and click ClinicalKey Student.
STEP TWO
Log in with your Whitireia /WelTec email address and your ClinicalKey password.
New user? Click Register here. Fill out and submit the form. (See the Troublshooting tab for information).
STEP THREE
You will get a confirmation email from clinicalkey@elsevier.com:
